New stills from Emmerich's new disaster film "Moonfall"

Stills from the sci-fi disaster film Moonfall, directed by Roland Emmerich, the director of The Day After Tomorrow and 2012! Starring Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson and Charlie Plummer, the film tells the story of a group of rookies being sent to complete an impossible mission after the moon is knocked out of its orbit and begins to rush towards the earth.

In Moonfall, set in the year 2022, a mysterious force knocks the Moon out of orbit, sending it hurtling toward Earth. With just weeks until impact, the world is on the brink of destruction. NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler (Oscar winner Halle Berry) believes she has the key to saving everyone, but only one of her former astronauts, Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson), and a conspiracy theorist, KC Houseman (John Bradley), believe her. These unlikely heroes are on an impossible final mission - to go into space and leave their loved ones behind, only to discover that our Moon is not what we thought it was.

"Moonfall" will be released in North America on February 4, 2022!
