It is currently ranked fourth in the Chinese film history box office list and second in the global annual box office list. At the same time, the number of viewers for "The Battle at Lake Changjin" exceeded 100 million, making it the fifth film in the Chinese film market to have exceeded 100 million viewers since public data and statistics were available.
