The first trailer for the new thriller "The Jade Lady," directed by Guillermo del Toro, has been released. The film will be released on December 17, starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Rooney Mara, Willem Dafoe, Ron Perlman, Richard Jenkins, David Strathairn and others.

The film is based on William Lindsay Gresham's novel of the same name, which was first adapted into a film in 1947. The new version was written by Gyro and Kim Morgan. The film tells the story of a greedy con man who conspires with a female psychiatrist to defraud patients of their money. An ambitious con man falls in love with a psychiatrist, but ends up being manipulated by the female doctor.
