Predator: Skull movie finalized with female protagonist

Daniel Trachtenberg, the director of the American TV series The Boys, has completed the filming of the fifth film in the Predator series, Predator Skulls, which stars Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Dane Diliegro and Jeff Cutter.

Diliegro has played a monster in "American Horror Story" and he is likely to play the Predator in the new version of "Predator".

The most recent Predator movie was the 2018 version, written and directed by Shane Black, the director of Iron Man 3, which grossed $160 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing single movie in the series' history. However, due to the $88 million production cost of the film, in addition to marketing and other expenses, the sequel was not approved.

There have been multiple versions of "Predator". The original "Predator" starring Schwarzenegger in 1987 had a sequel "Predator 2"; two "Alien vs. Predator" spin-offs were filmed in 2004 and 2007. In 2010, Oscar winner Adrien Brody starred in the rebooted version of "Predators", and another version of "The Predator" was filmed in 2018.

"Predator: Skull" is the fifth main story in the series. It features a female character as the human protagonist and tells the story of the Predator's early arrival on Earth.
