The popular science comic "Gem of Glass" announced that the animation will be broadcast in 2025

The popular science manga "Gem of Glass" created by Keiichiro Shibuya was first serialized in Kadokawa Manga's "Haruta" magazine in 2019, and has released 4 volumes of paperback editions so far (Volume 5 was released on September 13).

Recently, the official announced that "Gem of Glass" will be animated, and said that it will be broadcast in 2025. At the same time, the official also released the main visual image, and the original author Keiichiro Shibuya also released an animated celebration image.

However, the official did not reveal more information about the production staff and voice actor lineup, but mentioned that more detailed information will be released at the "Aniplex Online Fest 2024" festival hosted by Aniplex on September 16.

The original plot of "Ruri's Gem" tells the story of the female high school student Ruri who wants to buy a crystal necklace but lacks the available funds, so she comes up with the idea of ​​going to the mountains to look for crystals. As a result, she meets Nagi, a researcher at the mineral resources engineering institute, and a story related to her interest in geology unfolds from then on.
