The latest cast of the masterpiece "Spirited Away" stage play starring Kanna Hashimoto will be performed in 2022

Today, July 8, the latest cast of the stage play of "Spirited Away", one of the immortal masterpieces in the history of Japanese animated films, was announced. Spirited Away will be played by Kanna Hashimoto and is scheduled to be performed in 2022. Stay tuned.

"Spirited Away" is a Japanese animated film produced by Studio Ghibli, directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki, and first released on July 20, 2001. The story tells the story of a little girl who accidentally enters the world of gods and then escapes successfully with a strong and unyielding heart after various twists and turns.

The film once became the highest-grossing film in Japanese history until it was surpassed by "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" in December 2020.

The stage play of "Spirited Away" will be adapted and directed by John Caird, the director of the musical "Les Miserables", starring Kanna Hashimoto and Mone Shiraishi. The new casts announced this time include: Chihiro: Kanna Hashimoto and Mone Shiraishi (center); Haku: Daigo Kotaro and Miura Hironori (top right); No-Face: Sugawara Koharu and Tsujimoto Tomohiko (center); Ling: Sakiki MIYU and Kikaifu (bottom left); Boiler Grandpa: Taguchi TOMOROO and Hashimoto SATOSI (bottom right); and finally Yubaba/Zenitar: Mari Natsuki and Romi Park (top left).
