■ Story

Several hundred years ago, a great conflict that would divide the world in two was about to break out. Lucario tries to stop the conflict with Aaron, but he is trapped inside the stone ornament of Aaron's staff. After that, peace returns to the world, and Aaron, who stopped the conflict, is celebrated as the legendary "Wave-Guided Hero."
Satoshi takes part in a Pokemon battle held in the town of Rota, where the "Wave-Guided Legend" is passed down through the generations, and wins the tournament, earning Arlong's Staff. When Satoshi hears a voice coming from the stone ornament on the staff, Lucario, who has been released from a centuries-old seal, appears before him. Then, suddenly, the mythical Pokemon "Mew" appears and takes Pikachu away! Satoshi and Lucario set out to find Pikachu, heading for the "Tree of the Origin of the World," where Mew lives. Will Satoshi be able to reunite with Pikachu? And what is the truth behind Lucario's hidden past and the "Wave-Guided Legend"?

In particular, the depiction of the "Tree of the Origin of the World" is fantastical and beautiful, and seems to symbolize the theme of the story.

The music also adds to the appeal of this work. Shinji Miyazaki's music stirs emotions as the story unfolds, drawing the viewer into the world of the story. The opening theme "Battle Frontier" and the ending theme "Hajimari no Uta" both have memorable melodies and lyrics that further deepen the impact of the story.
