■ Main Characters

・Belldandy

A goddess of the "First-class God, Type 2, Unlimited" who belongs to the "Helpful Goddess Office". She appears to people selected by Yggdrasil and is engaged in the task of "granting wishes", but one day, a wish from a dull college student, Morizato Keiichi, to "stay by his side forever" is accepted, and they live together on earth. In addition to her abilities as a goddess, she is also perfect at all household chores such as washing, cooking, and sewing. As a high-ranking goddess in the heavens, she has great powers, but on earth they are too powerful, so they are restricted by a seal ring (piercing) in her left ear. She also has the angel "Holy Bell" with the attribute of wind, and the magic spells she casts with her are stronger than usual.

・Keiichi Morizato

He is a third-year student at Nekomi Institute of Technology. He was chosen by the heavenly system Yggdrasil, which could not bear to see his misfortune, and when the goddess Verdandy came as her messenger, he told her, "I want a goddess like you to be by my side forever," and he began living with the goddess. He is said to be a kind-hearted person by nature, and cannot leave people in trouble alone. As a result, his misfortune continues to worsen, but he also has a positive side and does not see this as a negative thing. His dream is to make "his favorite bike." However, his immediate dream is to "develop a relationship with Verdandy"...

Urd

She is Belldandy's older sister and a goddess limited to second-class god management. Frustrated by the lack of progress in the relationship between Keiichi and Belldandy, she left her duties in the heavens and came to the earthly world, settling down at the Morisato household. She has a selfish and self-centered personality. She has a large hedonistic side to her, believing that anything goes as long as it's fun, and although she will "use any means to achieve her goal," she tends to "forget that goal" when she acts. As a result, she often causes trouble for the people around her, including Keiichi. Although her rank as a goddess is below Belldandy's, her inherent abilities far surpass Belldandy's.

Skuld

She is Belldandy's younger sister and a goddess of "limited to one type of second-class god". She is the youngest of three sisters who likes Belldandy so much that she doesn't listen to Urd's orders but listens obediently to what Belldandy says. Worried about Belldandy who remained in the surface world, she makes up her mind to come to the surface! Like Urd, she ends up staying at the Morizato household. Her favorite food is ice cream. Her hobbies are inventing and tinkering with machines. She creates various convenient items every day, but the results are not very clear. However, when she feels the need to protect Belldandy, she comes up with some incredible inventions.

・Payos

1st class god, 2 types not limited. A goddess who belongs to the rival agency "Earth Help Center" of the "Help Goddess Agency" where Belldandy and the others are. As can be seen from her frequent use of rose-based magic, she is proud and narcissistic. Her angel name is "Gorgeous Rose".

・Sayako Mishima

She is a third-year student at Nekomi Institute of Technology and a member of the art club. Due to her rare beauty and her lineage as the daughter of the Mishima Zaibatsu, there are countless men who approach her. She is not shy about calling herself the "Queen of the Academy." She gradually begins to be attracted to Keiichi, who will do anything to get her!

・Toraichi Tamiya

A senior in the Automobile Club to which Keiichi Morizato belongs. The Automobile Club comes first in everything, and he is always thinking about the Automobile Club. His trademark is his knickerbockers, which remain the same no matter the season.

・Hikozaemon Otaki

A senior in the automotive club to which Morizato Keiichi belongs.

・Mori Rie

Keiichi's younger sister, who attends Nekomi Institute of Technology. She lives in an apartment with a guardian deity (a third-class earth spirit in the form of a mouse). She doesn't worry about small details.

・Chihiro Fujimi

An alumna of Nekomi Institute of Technology. She is the person who made the greatest contribution to transforming the current "Automobile Club" from the "Automobile Club."

Mahler

A demon that is not limited to first-class demons. As a first-class demon, her abilities are comparable to Belldandy's, but she is lacking in some areas and has difficulty achieving results. She starts dancing when she hears rock music, and she is weak to lucky charms.

・Hasegawa Sora

The only female member of the Automobile Club. Although she is a passive person who doesn't like to step forward, she still has enough individuality to make it in the Automobile Club.

・Sentaro Kawanishi

A boy who is always injured and always practices BMX by the river.

Troubadour

A plum spirit who was once Urd's lover. Contrary to her appearance, she also has a tearful side. Her singing voice is superb.

・Noble Scarlet

The angel of Skuld, meaning "Noble Crimson"

・Saint-chan

An elementary school girl who lives in Nekomi Town.

・Yamano Satoko

A freshman in the electronics department with a strict father. She has a unique hobby of cosplaying, and her interests in men are also quite unusual.

・Shiho Sakakibara

A student in the electronics department whose hobby is exorcising demons, he gets Morizato involved and causes a commotion.

Echo

He was originally a sewer rat, but was transformed into a ninja by Mahler.

Hild

She is the head of the Demon World and the mother of Urd. Because she has such great power, she has seals placed all over her body.

Fire hunting

Like Kodama, he was originally a sewer rat, but was transformed into a ninja by Mahler.

Peeping

He was originally a sewer rat, but was transformed into a ninja by Mahler.

"Ah! My Goddess: Each Wing" maximizes the appeal of the original work while providing fans with a fresh experience through the introduction of new characters and story developments. Below, we will take a closer look at the appeal and evaluation of the work.

Character Appeal

The biggest attraction of this series is the characters with their unique personalities. The main character, Keiichi Morisato, is relatable to viewers because he lives positively no matter how unfortunate the situation he finds himself in. His pure heart and feelings for Belldandy deeply move viewers.

Belldandy is charming in that, while being a perfect goddess, she does not hide her love for Keiichi. Her kindness and strength support Keiichi's growth. Additionally, sisters Urd and Skuld also have distinct personalities and function as comedic relief. In particular, Urd's selfish personality and Skuld's love of inventing add humor to the story.

The newly introduced Payos has a proud and narcissistic personality, and the contrast with Belldandy and the others is interesting. In addition, supporting characters such as Sayoko Mishima and Torajiro Tamiya also add color to Keiichi's daily life, adding depth to the story.

Story Development

In the second season, there are many episodes in which the relationship between Keiichi and Belldandy deepens even further. In particular, the scene where Keiichi's bond with Belldandy is tested as he pursues his dreams is very moving to the viewers. In addition, the appearance of the new goddess, Peous, causes new upheaval in the relationship between Keiichi and Belldandy, adding tension to the story.

Each episode depicts Keiichi's daily life and his activities in the car club, carefully depicting his growth and the changes in his relationships. In particular, Keiichi's efforts to achieve his dream of building his own bike and his date with Belldandy resonate with viewers. Additionally, the episodes featuring Urd and Skuld are full of humor and emotion, entertaining viewers.

Animation and Music

The animation quality is also high, with beautiful character designs and background art. In particular, the portrayals of Belldandy's angel, Holy Bell, and Skuld's angel, Noble Scarlet, are visually captivating. The mechanical designs are also excellent, with Keiichi's bike and Skuld's inventions being realistically drawn.

The music also adds to the charm of the work. The opening theme "Shiawase no Iro" (Colors of Happiness) features Yoko Ishida's gentle singing voice that enhances the atmosphere of the story, and the ending themes "Bokura no Kiseki" and "Koibitodzu" (Lovers) also enhance the emotion of each episode. In particular, Jukai's powerful singing voice is impressive in "Koibitodzu" and livens up the climax of the story.
