■ Story

Monroe the black cat is a very ordinary black cat (male) that I met in the "foster parents wanted" section of a cat magazine. He was very friendly from the first time we met, a little childish-faced, and surprisingly old-man-like in the sun, with a slightly flabby belly. He's a good-natured guy, and when you call him he'll come running over to you, and when you call him from hiding he'll come looking for you. He's a participatory type who sticks his nose into everything, and he's honest and straightforward. Although he always has a serious face, when he's flustered it's easy to tell on his face. He can be clumsy sometimes, and will pretend to find something to cover it up.

■ Main Characters

・Monroe is a male black cat who lives with Yoppi. He met Yoppi through an adoption column in a cat magazine. He showed off his friendliness by sitting on Yoppi's lap on their first meeting. His honesty, simplicity, and occasional clumsiness easily overturn Yoppi's concept of cats.

Yoppi is a human girl who lives with Monroe. She is an illustrator by profession. She is hesitant to start living with a cat for the first time in her life. From the very first day, her heart bells ring with Monroe's natural friendliness, and from then on, she learns every day about the charm of cats.

・The Spotted Fairy When your cat is staring in the wrong direction, reacting to a faint presence, or when something you're looking for turns up in an unexpected place, this fairy might be there. A mysterious, fantasy-like annoying guy.

- Sabiko: A maiden's troubles are being called "rag cat" and "unwashed blanket."

Uncle Bull is a gentle and knowledgeable person. He is very kind and is loved by cats. He is at the mercy of the cats' freedom and surrealism.

・It's soft and squishy.

・He is a chunky, easy-going guy who doesn't mind small things. He's not wary at all. He's easily attracted to people.

・Shichisan (eldest son), Zurao (second son), Kaburu (third son)
Three black and white brothers. The black spots on their heads miraculously turned into wig patterns. They are so distracted by the wigs that they have trouble remembering who is who. They always tend to forget about their younger brothers.

・Kijishiro-san, the wandering guitarist. The lyrics he sings seem to sing to the feline family and to ask questions to the human family.

・Mame-chan Yoppi's friend. Sometimes she calmly talks Yoppi down. She is actually highly educated.

Killdeath-kun is a punk from the neighborhood. He and Yoppi meet frequently and start talking to each other.

・Cat Lady's real name is Etchan. She is childhood friends with Tetchan. Her arguments with Tetchan are a local specialty. She gets her perm at the beauty salon.

・The man with the perm is actually Tetchan. He looks tough but is easily frightened. His hobby is DIY. His perm is natural.

The priest of the nearby church. Nicknamed Father Song. One of his daily routines is mediating fights between Tetchan and Etchan.

Haruka Iyamagawa is the original soothing beauty actress. She hosts an animal show. Her wild, rough puns make viewers stare in the living room. Her catchphrase is "Your Owais, Healing ♡"
