"TIGER & BUNNY 2 Part 2" is an anime series that began streaming on Netflix on October 7, 2022. It is produced by BN Pictures and directed by Mitsuko Kase. Set in the city of Sternbild, the series depicts a world in which "NEXT", people with special abilities, play heroes, and focuses on the exploits of Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Wild Tiger) and Barnaby Brooks Jr. The series will also begin broadcasting on NHK General TV in April 2023, and will be broadcast without the logos of the tie-up companies on the characters.

story

Sternbild is a city where people of various races and ethnicities, as well as people with special abilities called "NEXTs," coexist. The NEXTs act as "heroes" and, while wearing sponsor logos, they rush around solving cases and saving lives in order to improve the image of their companies and earn hero points. Their exploits are broadcast on the popular program "HERO TV," and each one competes for the annual ranking to become the "King of Heroes."

Kotetsu T. Kaburagi and Barnaby Brooks Jr. continue their hero activities to improve the image of their company, Apollon Media. The "Hero System" originated from Sternbild has now been introduced all over the world, and the number of heroes is on the rise. New heroes join Sternbild, and Kotetsu and Barnaby are expected to succeed as senior heroes, but how will they fare?

The central characters of this series are Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Wild Tiger) and Barnaby Brooks Jr. Kotetsu is a veteran hero who debuted over 10 years ago and has the NEXT ability "Hundred Power." Barnaby also has Hundred Power and works as a duo with Kotetsu. Many other heroes with unique personalities also appear, including Blue Rose, who can control ice, Golden Ryan, who can amplify gravity, and Fire Emblem, who can control fire.

As for the enemy characters, twin brothers Fugan and Mugan begin hunting heroes all over the world. In addition, powerful foes such as Gregory Sunshine, who causes NEXT's powers to go out of control, and Lunatic (Yuri Petrov), who has his own sense of justice, stand in the way of Kotetsu and his friends.

This series consists of 12 episodes, each with a title of an English proverb and a deep theme. For example, "March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers" and "No pain no gain" have different messages in each episode.
