IGN released the first batch of stills from the new horror film "The Conjuring 3". This film is the seventh film in the "Conjuring Universe" and has been confirmed to be rated R. The director has been changed from James Wan to Michael Chavez, the director of "Curse of the Weeping Women". It will be released in North America on June 4 and will be available on HBO Max at the same time.

"The Conjuring 3" will tell the story of one of the most sensational cases the Warrens have ever encountered, beginning with a battle for the soul of a little boy, as they witness something unprecedented - the first time in American history that a murder suspect has used demonic possession as a defense.

Starring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Lurie O'Connor, Julian Hilliard, Shannon Cook, Charlotte Amoya, etc., the film is directed by Michael Chavez, the director of "The Curse of the Weeping Woman", and James Wan participated in the screenwriting and production.
