DC will add a new superhero Monkey Prince inspired by China's Monkey King

According to foreign media IGN, DC Comics will launch a 100-page commemorative collection of "DC Heroes Festival: Asian Superhero Celebration", in which a new superhero "Monkey Prince" will appear, inspired by the Monkey King in Chinese mythology.

The DC Heroes Festival: Asian Superhero Celebration will be divided into 11 stories, one of which is "The Monkey Prince Hates Superheroes." (12 pages in total), which tells the story of the new superhero "Monkey Prince". Other stories include superheroes such as Batgirl, Green Lantern, Katana and Cheshire Cat.

The story of "Monkey Prince Hates Superheroes" is written by award-winning writer Jinlun Yang and Bernard Chang is the artistic creation. The Monkey Prince will join forces with Shazam to defeat the Chinese Deer Demon and the evil Dr. Sivana. The Monkey Prince is inspired by Chinese mythology and "Journey to the West". The domestic game "Black Myth: Wukong" also features the Monkey King as the protagonist.

The commemorative collection "DC Heroes Festival: A Celebration of Asian Superheroes" will be launched on May 11 and will be available in physical comic bookstores and digital platforms.
