Today (February 2), Warner Bros. Pictures officially announced that the live-action movie "Tom and Jerry" will be released in mainland China on February 26. The best friends will make their debut on the big screen to reap joy. The film is composed of CG animation and live-action performances, directed by Tim Story.

The live-action + CG version of "Tom and Jerry" movie is adapted from the classic animation of the same name, starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Michael Peña, Ken Zheng, Colin Jost and others, and directed by Tim Story ("Son of the Zoe", "Fantastic Four 2").

The live-action version of "Tom and Jerry" tells the story of Tom and Jerry coming to the bustling metropolis of New York, and the girl Kayla, played by Moretz, has just started working at a luxury hotel when she encounters a problem - Jerry, a mouse, wants to settle down in the hotel, which puts the century wedding that the hotel has recently undertaken in jeopardy. So Tom is hired by Kayla to become a hotel employee to drive Jerry away, and the old enemies are at odds again.
