Earlier, Charlie Bullock, the producer of "Black Mirror", said that he would create a pseudo-documentary for 2020. On Monday, Netflix's official channel launched the official trailer of the pseudo-documentary, "Death to 2020".

Trailer:

Created and produced by Black Mirror creators Charlie Bullock and Annabel Jones, the mockumentary will focus on the past 2020, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement, and the 2020 presidential election - through a hilarious lens.

Well-known actors such as Samuel Jackson, Hugh Grant, Lisa Kudrow and Joe Keery starred in the film. Hugh Grant had previously said that he played an "annoying" historian in the film.

"People who only know me through Black Mirror might not realise that I spent many years filming comedy shows in the UK, including many hit shows," Bullock, 49, said of his work on Black Mirror and his past comedy work. "I worked with the same team that made my comedy debut in the UK during what has been the loneliest year ever."

Block also said: "'2020 Die' features fictional characters discussing real events in an exaggerated satire that is much sillier than it sounds... I don't like the word 'satire', but there are some ironic moments and some stupid jokes in the film. I hope that the audience can find at least one joke they like. In 2020, no matter how short-lived, being able to laugh is a precious victory."
