According to foreign media Deadline, Universal Cinemas will remake the Vietnamese action comedy "Saigon Bodyguards" into an English-language movie, starring domestic action star Wu Jing and "Star-Lord" Chris Pratt. "Guardians of Saigon" is adapted from the 2016 Vietnamese film of the same name. It tells the story of two bodyguards who have to find a highly-anticipated heir who was kidnapped under their protection. The script was written by Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck, the director and screenwriter of "Carnival of Nostalgia", and Pratt and the Russo brothers served as producers.
