Nolan's "Tenet" has exceeded 350 million in global box office, with mainland China accounting for 20%

Recently, Christopher Nolan's new film "Tenet" has grossed over $350 million worldwide, including $55.1 million in North America, $295.6 million outside North America, and 455 million yuan (69.02 million U.S. dollars) in mainland China. It is reported that the film cost $205 million to make, and the current box office is not enough to make up for the loss.

Recently, Nolan said in an interview about the box office of "Tenet" that although the numbers did not meet expectations, the Hollywood film industry should see the positive side. "I am excited about its $350 million box office, but I am worried that the film companies will draw the wrong conclusions from this release. They did not see the success and did not see that it brought their funds back. They only saw that it was lower than the previous forecast and will use this as an excuse to let the theaters bear all the losses, instead of re-entering and adapting to the status quo and rebuilding our industry."
