The pre-production of Star Wars 9 has been completed, and director and co-writer JJ Abrams announced the news by posting a picture on Twitter. In this latest still, we see the three leading actors Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac hugging each other in the desert scene. Star Wars 9 is expected to premiere on December 20 this year. Abrams directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which opened the new generation of Star Wars trilogy. Later, in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the director was replaced by Rian Johnson. The last part of the new generation trilogy will be directed by Abrams again, and fans are looking forward to seeing how this 42-year-old space opera will end. After the pre-production is completed, the film will enter the post-production and editing phase, and there will generally be reshoots. Previous Star Wars films such as "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi", "Rogue One", and "Solo: A Star Wars Story" have all experienced reshoots of key scenes. Of course, post-production special effects production will also account for a large number of shots in this film. "Star Wars 9" has not yet announced a subtitle, and more information may be announced at this year's Star Wars Celebration in Chicago from April 11 to 15. |
