Brad Pitt's Ad Astra will be released in mainland China on December 5

The space movie "Ad Astra" starring Brad Pitt was originally scheduled to be released in China on December 6, but according to Sina Film, the film has been advanced to 18:00 on December 5 (this Thursday).

Ad Astra tells the story of an aerospace engineer played by Pitt. After his father (Jones) disappeared for many years while exploring alien life on Neptune, he was told that his father might still be alive. So he traveled through the solar system to find his father and try to figure out the secret of his mission. It was shortlisted for the main competition unit of this year's Venice Film Festival.

It is worth mentioning that the movies that will be released on December 6 will include "Jumanji: The Next Level" and "The Gathering at Southern Station".
