Disney says 'Tron: Legacy' sequel already has a script

The highly anticipated sequel to "Tron: Legacy" is confirmed! Recently, Mitchell Leib, president of Disney Music and Film Soundtracks, revealed on the podcast Light the Fuse, "We got a very good script, and the top priority is to get Draft Punk back (soundtrack)."

Mitchell said that the timing was not right a few years ago, and now is the time to start the sequel, and Disney has learned a lot of lessons from the previous film. He hopes that the director of the previous film, Joseph Kosinski, can return to direct this film.

The first film in the TRON series was released in 1982 (also translated as "Electronic World War"), and the second film in the series, TRON: Legacy, was released in 2010. In Kosinski's conception, the sequel to TRON: Legacy will be called TRON: Ascension (tentative translation), telling the story of an invasion from within the machine.
