Japanese "New Interpretation of the Three Kingdoms" new stills Narita Yu's version of Lu Bu is majestic

Recently, a set of stills from "New Interpretation of the Three Kingdoms", directed and written by Yuichi Fukuda, the director of "Gintama" and "I'm a Big Brother", was released by Yu Narita, the leading actor of the film. In the stills, Yu Narita plays Lu Bu, holding a Fang Tian Hua Ji and wearing black and gold armor, looking majestic.

The movie "A New Interpretation of the Three Kingdoms" was written and directed by Yuichi Fukuda, starring Yo Oizumi as Liu Bei, and Takayuki Yamada as "Yellow Turban", one of the rebels in the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Yu Shirota plays the unparalleled general Lu Bu with superb martial arts. Jiro Sato plays the dictator Dong Zhuo who supported the young emperor and was known for his cruelty and ruthlessness.

Yuichi Fukuda is going to make a live-action movie based on his new interpretation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The book Romance of the Three Kingdoms is based on historical facts, and it also leaves many unexplained or incomplete mysteries, leaving a lot of room for imagination for future generations. Yuichi Fukuda said that he wants to "make a new interpretation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms that no one has ever imagined before."

"A New Interpretation of the Three Kingdoms" summarizes the historical facts of the struggle for hegemony between the three kingdoms of Wei, Wu, and Shu in the late Han Dynasty of China about 1,800 years ago. The film will be released nationwide in Japan on December 11, 2020.
