Liam Neeson is back to the rescue again! The first stills of his new film, The Ice Road, have been released. The film is directed by Jonathan Hensley (Kill the Irishman) and co-stars Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix), and is currently shooting in Winnipeg, Canada. Liam Neeson plays truck driver Mike and Fishburne plays the owner of a trucking company. After a diamond mine collapses in a remote area of northern Canada, the trucking company owner hires Mike to rescue trapped miners on the frozen ocean. While struggling with the melting sea water and a huge storm, they find that the real threat is something they never foresaw. Liam Neeson, a "rescue professional", has traveled across land and air in the Taken trilogy, High Horizon and The Commuter. This time he will brave the icy sea. It is reported that High Horizon is scheduled to meet the audience in 2021. |
