Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon premieres on August 21

HBO announced that the prequel to "Game of Thrones" "House of the Dragon" will premiere on August 21, 2022 and will be simultaneously available on HBO Max. The first season will have a total of 10 episodes. Adapted from George Martin's novel "Fire & Blood", "House of the Dragon" is set 200 years before the story of "Game of Thrones" and will tell the story of House Targaryen, starring Emma Darcy, Matt Smith, Milly Alcock and others.
