Colin Firth releases new trailer for The Secret Garden

The new version of "The Secret Garden" starring Colin Firth released a new trailer today. Adapted from the classic children's novel of the same name, the film is no longer set in the Edwardian era, but in Britain after World War II in 1947.

"The Secret Garden" tells the story of Mary Lenrocks (played by Dixie Egerickx), a British girl born in India, who became an orphan overnight after her parents died. She was sent from India to live on the estate of her Uncle Craven (played by Colin Firth) in Yorkshire, England.

Living in her uncle's mysterious and gloomy house, Mary has a magical experience that leads her into the long-confined and deserted garden. Mary, the farm boy Dickon, and the sick young master Colin who has been locked up in a dark room for many years, find the key to happiness and experience a poetic resurrection with the garden.

The new version of "The Secret Garden" is scheduled to be released in the UK on Easter, April 10!
