The new Batman has officially started filming and will be released on June 25th

Today (January 28), the new "Batman" director Matt Reeves released the first day of shooting photos of the new "Batman" on Twitter. The new "Batman" will be released in North America on June 25, 2021.

British actor Robert Pattinson will play Batman in the new "Batman", famous Hollywood actor Colin Farrell will play the Penguin, black actress Zoë Kravitz will play Catwoman, Andy Serkis will play the butler Alfred, Paul Dano will play the Riddler, and black actor Jeffrey Wright will play Sheriff Gordon.

According to the plan, the new Batman will focus on Bruce Wayne's youth and tell the story of the Dark Knight and his "Villain Gallery". If nothing unexpected happens, this will be a detective film. Previously, director Matt Reeves revealed that the film is not adapted from Frank Miller's comic Batman: Year One, although this comic returns the Batman series to its dark nature and has a significant impact on Nolan's Batman trilogy. But director Reeves said that the new Batman will not tell the "origin story".
