No more "Fox"! Disney rebrands 20th Century Fox

The news of Disney's acquisition of Fox in 2019 is still being talked about in the entire entertainment industry. Disney also suddenly announced a bombshell yesterday - it will rebrand "20th Century Fox" and officially remove the name Fox , causing an uproar among fans around the world.

First of all, we will never see this classic opening again:

After Disney renamed its subsidiary "20th Century Fox", it will only retain "20th Century" as the studio name to release movies ; at the same time, the independent brand "Fox Searchlight" under the original Fox will also be renamed "Searchlignt Pictures".

On the surface, this is for the "aesthetic unification" of Disney's brands, but in this merger with a strong commercial atmosphere, the reasons behind it are far more than that. For a large number of movie fans, too many classic IPs are linked to "Fox" ("Predator", "X-Men", old "Star Wars", "Ice Age", etc.), and even when these movie names are mentioned, the classic openings above will automatically play in the mind. And this name change may be a thorough reform of Disney, in order to publicize its ownership of these IPs and rewrite the audience's subconscious from a fundamental perspective.
