The 92nd Academy Awards 2020 nomination list is officially released

The 92nd Academy Awards announced the shortlist at around 9:00 pm Beijing time. The newly crowned Golden Globe winners Joaquin Phoenix of Joker, Renée Zellweger of Judy, and Awkwafina of The Farewell won the Best Actor and Best Actress awards without any suspense, and are considered to be strong candidates for the awards!

In addition, Scarlett Johansson is not only competing for the Oscar for Best Actress for "Marriage Story", but is also nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Award for "The Boy Who Came to School", competing against Laura Dern for "Marriage Story" and Margot Robbie for "Blockbuster".

In the Supporting Actor category, Brad Pitt was nominated for the award for the second time for his role in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", competing against a number of senior actors including Tom Hanks in "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood", Anthony Hopkins in "The Two Popes", Al Pacino and Joe Pesci in "The Irishman".

Director Bong Joon-ho's Korean film "Parasite" was a huge success. It was not only nominated for Best International Film, but also shortlisted for six awards including Best Picture, Director, Original Screenplay, Editing and Art Direction, breaking a record in Korean film history.
