Stephen King's horror novel 'The Dark Half' to be adapted into a movie

According to foreign media reports, Stephen King's horror novel "The Dark Other Half" will be adapted into a movie by MGM Pictures and directed by Alex Ross Perry, the director of "Her Smell".

The Dark Half was published in 1989 and is the first work in the Castle Rock Ending trilogy. It was adapted into the movie Twins in 1993. It tells the story of a horror novelist named Syd who devoured his twin brother in his mother's womb while still a fetus, and the brother who died before birth tried to replace the real writer with violence and blood. This is a masterpiece of horror fiction that incorporates the author's own experience: Stephen King published novels under the pen name "Richard Buckman" in his early years. After his double identity was "exposed", he created this work as his "appearance".

Stephen King was hailed as the "master of modern thriller novels" by the New York Times. Many of his works have become popular among Hollywood producers, including "The Shining", "The Green Mile", "The Shawshank Redemption" and so on.
