The Conjuring 3 officially released its storyline

New Line Cinema today officially announced the official title of "The Conjuring 3", "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It". The film is scheduled to be released in North America on September 11, 2020.

At the same time, the official also released the story synopsis of "The Conjuring 3":

“A terrifying tale of terror, murder, and an unknown evil that shocks even seasoned real-world paranormal investigators Mr. and Mrs. Warren. One of the most sensational cases in their files, it begins with a battle with the spirit of a young boy, then spirals into something they’ve never seen before, leading to a murder suspect using demonic possession as his defense, marking a first in American history.”

"The Conjuring 3" is directed by Michael Chavez, a post-95 director. Michael Chavez's horror film "Curse of the Weeping Lady" did very well at the North American box office. It was released on April 19 and earned 26.5 million US dollars in the first three days, winning the weekend box office championship.

James Wan will serve as the producer of The Conjuring 3. James Wan said before, "All 'The Conjuring' movies are based on the archives of the Warrens, so this is more about the true story of the couple.
