Amazon Studios has finally announced the creative team for the American TV series "The Lord of the Rings", which it will produce together with the Tolkien Estate and Foundation and New Line Cinema under Warner Entertainment. Last week, the official cast of the American TV series "Lord of the Rings" was confirmed. Makala Kavena will join the fantasy series and play the role of "Tyra". There are no other details about the character, but the name should belong to an elf or a human. Makala has previously starred in the Australian film "Lawless" prequel series, "Picnic at Hanging Rock" and the TV series "The Wailing".

The American TV series "The Lord of the Rings" is jointly produced by Amazon Studios, the Tolkien Estate and Foundation, and New Line Cinema, a subsidiary of Warner Entertainment. It is rumored that "The Lord of the Rings" will start filming in 2020, with a total of five seasons and a total investment of US$1 billion, which exceeds the investment of the movie trilogy. It also beat "Game of Thrones" (US$15 million per episode per month) and became the most expensive American TV series in history.
