Gamora actor: I hope to be evil in "Guardians of the Galaxy 3"

After James Gunn returned to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the original cast of the film has also been assembled. His script has been written, and we cannot know what it is about at this stage, but the actors don't know either - Zoe Saldana said in a recent interview that she hopes her character "Gamora" can be "blackened" in the new film.

In Avengers: Infinity War, Gamora was thrown off the cliff of Vormir by her father Thanos, and her death earned Thanos a Soul Stone. In Avengers: Endgame, although Gamora is no longer in the main timeline we are most familiar with, Gamora in 2014 reappeared in front of everyone (and Star-Lord) through time travel. The Gamora in Avengers 4 has never been a member of the "Guardians of the Galaxy", and no one knows where she went at the end of the film.

At the end of Avengers 4, Chris Hemsworth's Thor joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, while the infatuated Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) was trying to find his former lover. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 may start from here. "It all depends on how Marvel and James Gunn want to decide the fate of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Gamora," Zoe said at the recent Seattle ACE Comic Con. "I kind of hope that she can come back and return to the Guardians of the Galaxy, but I also hope that she can become the bad guy Gamora."

Zoe went on to say, "I've never seen this version of her, and she's always been known as a deadly killer (after all, she was trained by Thanos himself), the deadliest woman in the galaxy. So I hope to see her anger, which will also make our performance more layered, but it would also be great if she could return to the Guardians of the Galaxy team." Thinking about it this way, if Gamora is the big villain of "Guardians of the Galaxy 3", it sounds good? Marvel Studios has not announced the release date of any new film recently, maybe they are all waiting to make a big splash at the SDCC San Diego Comic-Con.

The Gamora in "Avengers 4" traveled from 2014

With two blockbuster sequels, "Guardians of the Galaxy" and James Cameron's (also James) "Avatar", Zoe Saldana will probably not have to worry about being out of work for the next decade or so.
