The Netflix Original Works Festival was held in Tokyo today, and Netflix introduced the original content to be broadcast in the future. At the event, Netflix announced that it would adapt the "Ju-Grudge" film series into a TV series, with Usagi Miyake ("Your Bird Can Sing") directing and Hiroshi Takahashi ("The Ring") and Takashige Ichise (the original producer of "The Grudge") writing the scripts. The TV series version of "The Grudge" is scheduled to be released on Netflix next spring. |
