Hisaishi joins the cast of the highly anticipated new animated film Children of the Sea

The fantasy animated film "Children of the Sea", adapted from Daisuke Igarashi's original work of the same name, will be released in Japan on June 7. Today, the official released the latest participating characters. The production lineup of this film is quite luxurious, and Joe Hisaishi will also join in. Let's look forward to it together.

"Children of the Sea" tells the story of a straightforward but hot-tempered girl named Rika who had to quit her club because of violence. During the long summer vacation with no place to stay, Rika met two mysterious boys, Umi and Sora. Umi and Sora are said to be children raised by dugongs and have lived in the sea since infancy.

·In addition to their organ functions being different from those of ordinary people, they seem to be able to receive messages from the sea that ordinary people cannot receive. On the other hand, fish have frequently disappeared from aquariums around the world, but various rare fish have continued to appear on the beach where Hai and Kong are...?

The three main characters of "Children of the Sea" announced today are (from left): Min Tanaka who plays Jim, a marine life conservationist; Umi's brother Sora is played by Seishu Urakami; and Angorado, a genius oceanographer who investigates the mystery of Umi and Sora, is played by WIN Morisaki.
