DC's "Cyborg" independent film has been cancelled! The actors will also be replaced

Although "Justice League" opened a new chapter for the DC Extended Universe, the film's box office failure and behind-the-scenes troubles forced Warner to change the direction of the entire series and instead shoot independent superhero films.

Popular actors in Justice League, such as "Wonder Woman" Gal Gadot and "Aquaman" Jason Momoa, have been successfully "renewed", but others are not so lucky. For example, Cyborg, which has not been updated for a long time, has proved that there is a reason why Cyborg has not been updated.

According to people familiar with the matter, the plan for the independent film "Cyborg" has been canceled because the studio that filmed the film is now not interested in continuing to tell the story of Victor Stone on the big screen. This also includes that Ray Fisher, the actor of "Cyborg", will not play Cyborg in the new "Justice League".

Frankly speaking, the studio no longer wants to work with Ray Fisher on any projects, and has no plans to have him appear in other DC movies in the near future. Cyborg is currently scheduled to appear in DC's new "Titan" spin-off "Doom Patrol", but it is no longer played by Ray Fisher, but by actor Jovan Wade.

Last November, industry insider Umberto Gonzalez revealed a comic adaptation sample without details, which depicted a dead robot being reborn. Many people thought this meant that the "Cyborg" independent film would begin. However, in hindsight, Gonzalez's message may mean that this character and his actor Ray Fisher are currently "dead."
