Idris replaces Will Smith as Deadshot in Suicide Squad 2

Recently, Will Smith, the Deadshot in "Suicide Squad", was unable to continue playing the role of "Deadshot" due to schedule conflicts. Recently, it was reported that British black actor Idris Elba will replace Will Smith to play the role of "Deadshot" in "Suicide Squad 2".

Previously, Will Smith's role as "Deadshot" in "Suicide Squad" was well received. Although it was not very close to the original comics, Smith did perform in his own style. His outstanding performance also made this 2016 movie earn a global box office of 746 million US dollars (about 5 billion yuan). However, he unfortunately withdrew this time. The editor also expressed regret for this. The movie once revealed that it really wanted Will Smith to stay as "Deadshot", but it was ultimately not realized.

Idris Elba, who played Heimdall in the Thor series and Black Ops in Pacific Rim, will replace Will Smith as Deadshot. Faced with the conflict of Smith's schedule, the production team had to find Idris Elba before the film started production in September. In addition to starring in Suicide Squad 2, Idris Elba will also play the villain in the Fast & Furious spin-off Fast & Furious Hobbs & Shaw, playing against Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, which will be a feast for the eyes of the audience.
