Weird and heavy! The new live-action movie of the classic comic "Chainsaw Girl RED" is announced

The latest live-action movie adapted from the bloody and bizarre manga by Rei Mikamoto, "Chainsaw Girls RED", will be officially released in early 2019. This is the second new movie in the series since the first work was released in 2016, which fans have been waiting for a long time.

"Chainsaw Girl" is a bloody and bizarre manga serialized by Rei Mikamoto in Kadokawa's monthly magazine Comic Beam (Kadokawa Bookstore). It tells the story of a bad girl Yoshiko Sawmura fighting a classmate who was transformed into zombies with a chainsaw. A classmate Aoi, who was rejected by her classmates, activated her genius mad scientist ability and transformed the classmates who bullied her into zombies one after another.

The director of the new second installment of "Chainsaw Girls RED" is still Yamaguchi Hiroki, and the script is written by Fukuhara Mitsunori. However, the second-generation heroine is replaced by Asakawa Rina (SUPER☆GiRLS) . As for how such a pure girl will interpret the bloody chainsaw witch, please look forward to more new information!
