Guillermo del Toro's new stop-motion animated film 'The Buried Giant' is coming to Netflix

Today (February 24), the streaming platform Netflix announced that after the great success of "Pinocchio", the famous director Guillermo del Toro will produce a new stop-motion animation film for the platform called "The Buried Giant".

"The Buried Giant" is a novel published in 2015 by the Japanese-British author Kazuo Ishiguro, telling the story of an elderly couple in a fictional post-Arthurian England. In the world of the novel, no one can maintain long-term memory because of the mist exhaled by a dragon.

Netflix has not yet announced when the film is scheduled to be released.
