The Last of Us 2's deleted levels will be integrated into the second season of the live-action series

The second season of HBO's live-action series "The Last of Us" has not yet started filming. Recently, Naughty Dog director Neil Druckmann revealed that he intends to convert the game levels that were deleted early and add them to the second season of the series.

Neil recently accepted an interview with Entertainment Weekly and mentioned his ideas for the second season of The Last of Us. He said that there will be an element in the show that comes from the deleted game levels of The Last of Us 2. We already know that these deleted levels are called: Sewer, Jackson's Party, and Boar Hunt.

Neil said: "This is just an idea. After all, we haven't officially started filming the second season yet. So the ideas we mentioned now may change later, but at least some of the elements of the deleted levels will be added to the series."

The premiere date of The Last of Us Season 2 has not yet been announced, and it is estimated that it will not be broadcast until 2025. The remastered version of The Last of Us 2 will be launched on January 19, 2024, and players can experience these deleted levels before the second season of the series is broadcast.
