Marvel series "Secret Invasion" has a budget of over $200 million and the ratings are second to last

According to Forbes, Marvel's recently launched series "Secret Invasion" had a budget of $212 million.

Disney has revealed that the budget for the six-episode superhero spy drama "Secret Invasion," starring Samuel L. Jackson and Oscar winner Olivia Colman, has gone over budget, with costs rising to $211.6 million.

The show premiered on Disney+ late last month and is the second-lowest rated Marvel series, according to data from media analytics firm Samba TV. Some have praised the show's heavy atmosphere, while others have lamented its lack of Marvel's signature action scenes. The data showed that Secret Invasion attracted 994,000 viewers in its first five days, just ahead of Ms. Marvel's 775,000 viewers.

That was in stark contrast to "Loki" (2.5 million viewers) and "Moon Knight" (1.8 million viewers). "Secret Invasion" was expected to be the most popular series because it's based on a beloved comic book series and features "Avengers" co-stars Don Cheadle and Cobie Smulders.
