Lance Reddick, the actor and star of "John Wick", passed away suddenly on March 17 at the age of 60. Earlier media reports said he died suddenly of "natural causes..." Recently, according to the death report obtained by TMZ, Reddick died of ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease. Ischemic heart disease, commonly known as atherosclerosis, and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease are usually caused by the accumulation of plaque in the arteries. In response to this report, the lawyer for Reddick's family said that the autopsy did not prove the cause of his death, and ischemic heart disease was inconsistent with Reddick's habits and health condition. Attorney James Hornstein called Reddick "the fittest person I know." He said the actor works out every day in his home gym, does plenty of cardio, and maintains a strict diet. Reddick even asked for "gym facilities" to be provided in his acting contracts. Reddick has acted in and voiced numerous works, most notably The Wire, Fringe, Lost, Law & Order, Prison on Fire, and films such as Godzilla vs. Kong, Now You See Me, The Guest, and the John Wick series. He is currently promoting John Wick 4, in which he plays the role of Charon, a hotel receptionist. |
