According to foreign media Deadline, HBO's "The Last of Us" Season 2 will be filmed in Vancouver, Canada, and the series will include the plot of "The Last of Us 2". In the game, "The Last of Us 2" takes place in Seattle, USA, and because Vancouver is often used as a substitute for American cities, coupled with Canada's tax incentives, this makes Vancouver a perfect "stand-in" for Seattle.

Details on when The Last of Us Season 2 will begin filming have not yet been revealed, but Joel's star Pedro Pascal has hinted that filming may begin later this year.
