The creators of "The Battle of Two Cities" are worried: the audience always has their own expectations for the ending

The second season of the League of Legends spin-off animation "The Battle of Two Cities" has now entered the third act, which is also the final chapter of the story. Co-creator Christian Linke said that he is very excited about the ending, but also worried.

"I'm really happy with how well we've been doing so far this season," he told GamesRadar+. "But I'm also a little bit antsy because, as someone who watches TV series, I don't see many TV shows ending that everyone is happy with. It's daunting, given how many TV shows there are in the world. And you know, it's the end."

The first season of "The Battle of the Two Cities" did not return until a year later after it aired in November 2021. Many fans were saddened by the news that the second season would be the last season. However, the creators said that this was planned from the beginning, but there will be more stories of "League of Legends" in the future.

Linke also reiterated that commitment, saying, "You can't escape the decisions you've made, no matter how you end the story. So, I'm excited but also anxious about what people think. But at the same time, I'm really proud of what we did in the last act, and I know there's some great stuff in it - I'm excited to be honest."

The episode he is referring to here is most likely the first episode of Act III (also Episode 7), which Linke praised highly in an interview, saying that the quality of this episode is very high and comparable to an independent work.
