Will Chinese-American producer Lin Dan helm the DC version of Kevin Feige at DC Films?

According to a recent report by Deadline, Warner Bros. is exploring a new head of DC Films, Chinese-American producer Dan Lin, who will control all of Warner's DC movies and TV series. Negotiations are still ongoing and no official contract has been signed. There are other candidates competing for this position, but Lin is currently the front-runner and is also interested in the position.

Previously, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said he was looking for Kevin Feige, a DC version of Kevin Feige, who would report directly to Zaslav, bypassing the heads of Warner Bros. Pictures, HBO/HBO Max, and Warner Bros. Television. In other words, Warner's DC content will be controlled by one person. Walter Hamada, the current head of DC Films, will gradually fade out.

Lin Dan was born on April 8, 1973 in Taipei, China. In January 2008, he founded Lin Pictures and served as the company's CEO. He is the producer of films such as the Sherlock Holmes series, Gangster Saga, The Lego Movie, IT and the live-action version of Aladdin.
