The Ghibli Park officially released a hand-painted map and promotional images. The park will officially open on November 1 this year. It is located in the Ai Chichibo Memorial Park in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is the world's first park with Ghibli animation as its theme. The first phase of the park has three areas, namely "Youth Hill", "Ghibli's Warehouse" and "Totoro Forest". In addition, "Ghost Village" and "Witch Valley" will open next year. "Youth Hill", overlooking the park from the hill is the "Earth House" in "Whisper of the Heart", and from that balcony you can have a panoramic view of the park; "Ghibli's Warehouse" has restaurants, theaters, shops and rooms displaying Ghibli works; "My Neighbor Totoro Forest" is the home of the two sisters Gaoyue and Xiaomei in "My Neighbor Totoro", as well as the surrounding woods. In the Ghibli theme park, there will be the cafeteria street in "Spirited Away", the walking path in "My Neighbor Totoro", the "Cat Office" in "The Cat Returns", and the elevator building designed for the impression of "Castle in the Sky" and "Howl's Moving Castle". |
