Sony confirms live-action series for God of War and Horizon are in production

At a business briefing held on Thursday local time, Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra confirmed that the company is developing TV adaptations of "God of War" and "Horizon". Amazon has obtained the rights to the "God of War" series, while "Horizon" was won by Netflix.

Deadline first reported in March this year that Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions were developing a live-action God of War series. According to reports, the live-action version of God of War is being adapted by The Expanse creator/producer Mark Fergus, Hawk Ostby and The Wheel of Time producer Rafe Judkins.
