DC's Legends of Tomorrow cancelled for Season 8

The CW canceled DC's Legends of Tomorrow after seven seasons.

According to THR, after DC's "Batwoman" was cancelled after three seasons, another DC adaptation series "Legends of Tomorrow" will also be cancelled. Currently, only "The Flash" and "Superman and Lois" are left to be broadcast next year on CW DC series. "The Flash" is expected to end in the ninth season and will be replaced by producer Greg Berlanti's "Gotham Knights".

Co-producer Keto Shimizu said on Twitter that "Legends of Tomorrow" will no longer have an eighth season, which is very heartbreaking, but he is also very grateful to the cast, crew and writers for their contributions to the series.

"Legends of Tomorrow" is a science fiction action series produced by the American CW TV station. The series is a spin-off of "Arrow" and "The Flash" based on DC comics. It premiered on the American CW TV station on January 21, 2016 and has aired more than 100 episodes so far.
