Uncharted: Media Reputation Lifts Ban on Movie Adaptations of Games

The game-adapted action-adventure film "Uncharted" starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg has been released from the media, with a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 44% (18 reviews) and a MetaCritic comprehensive score of 42 (8 reviews), which is hard to escape the bad reviews of game-adapted films. The film will be released in North America on February 18, and has been confirmed to be introduced in the mainland, with the release date to be determined.

Positive reviews:

CNET 67 points: "The movie is about a treasure hunt, but it's more like Indiana Jones, Ocean's Eleven and Pirates of the Caribbean."

Middle review:

Time Out, 60 points: "The film's characterization seems more likely to anger than please the game's core fans."

Bad reviews:

The Daily Telegraph, 40 points: "The green screen, retouching and fabrication of each frame are so obvious that it is impossible to feel the existence of any danger - the only thing missing is a life counter in the corner of the screen."

Uncharted tells the story of Nathan and Sullivan teaming up to go on a treasure hunt. Holland plays the treasure hunter Nathan, Mark Wahlberg plays Sullivan, and Venom director Ruben Fleischer directs.
