Knives Out 2 will be available on Netflix this fall

According to Variety, Knives Out 2 will be released on Netflix this fall. Before that, the film is expected to premiere at film festivals. Knives Out 2 is expected to wrap up in September 2021.

Netflix bought Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3 for $465 million in April 2021. Rian Johnson, the director of Knives Out 1, returned to continue as director and screenwriter.

In addition to producing the Knives Out series, Johnson is also developing Poker Face, a 10-episode mystery series for Peacock starring Natasha Lyonne.

Additionally, Johnson is planning his Star Wars trilogy.

The original Knives Out cost $40 million and grossed $310 million. The sequel Knives Out 2 has a major cast change. The sequel will not be closely related to the original story. Except for the detective played by Daniel Craig, who will appear in the sequel, all other characters will be replaced.
