The classic manga "Doraemon", which has brought joy and touched countless readers, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. To commemorate the 88th birthday of its original author Fujiko F. Fujio, on December 1, a carefully crafted conceptual urban sculpture "Doraemon: Future Gate" was unveiled on the streets of Tokyo. Fujiko F. Fujio (December 1, 1933 - September 23, 1996) is a Japanese male cartoonist and one of the representative cartoonists of Shogakukan. His representative works include Doraemon, Superman Parmon, and Super Power Mami. His real name is Fujimoto Hiroshi. He was born in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, and graduated from the Electrical Department of Toyama Prefectural Takaoka Technical High School. Fujiko F. Fujio once shared the pen name Fujiko Fujio with another famous Japanese cartoonist Motoo Abiko (pen name Fujiko Fujio A) for a long time. They drew for more than ten years in a difficult living environment, but did not cause much popularity until he became famous with "Q-taro" in 1964. From then on, he established his important position in the Japanese comics industry. His representative work "Doraemon" set off an irresistible whirlwind and became an eternal classic in the hearts of thousands of children. •The conceptual urban sculpture "Doraemon Future Gate" was placed today in Miyashita Park in Shibuya, Tokyo. The design concept comes from the most fascinating future technology in the work, •The Anywhere Door. The statue allows visitors to participate in the interaction and take photos close to it. Fans who have the opportunity to travel to Tokyo can go and check it out. |
