British actor Tom Holland recently revealed in an interview with GQ that he had a particularly tough time on the set of the movie "Uncharted". In the interview, Holland discussed the physical and mental toll that years of filming stunt projects for "Uncharted" and Marvel movies had on him. Holland went from Berlin to Atlanta to shoot Spider-Man: No Return, just three days after finishing Uncharted. He said he had never felt so happy shooting Spider-Man, because Spider-Man wears a mask, some difficult actions can be performed by a stand-in, the background is green screen, and some high-rise buildings are synthesized by post-production CG. But when shooting Uncharted, some actions can only be performed by himself. Holland also said that he had developed tendinitis, which is usually an inflammation of the joints, while filming Uncharted in early 2021. While most cases of tendinitis can be treated with rest, therapy and painkillers, surgery is required to a certain extent. And he felt physically and mentally exhausted during the press conference for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Holland traveled to 17 countries to promote the film and performed backflips as required. In the end, he was so sick that he vomited backstage after the press conference. He said he was under a lot of pressure and had tried his best. In this interview, Holland hinted that he would not continue to play Spider-Man in the MCU, which may indicate that the movie of Miles Morales may be Marvel's next choice. He also said that the script of Spider-Man: No Return is being revised and rewritten almost every day, and some are even at the stage of being completed, but this situation is very common in Hollywood. |
