The classic comic spoof "KAPPEI: The Savior of the Doom" is confirmed to be made into a live-action movie

According to Japanese media reports on September 21, the classic spoof manga masterpiece "KAPPEI, the Savior of the Apocalypse" by Japanese cartoonist Kiminori Wakasugi has been confirmed to be made into a live-action movie. The director has been confirmed to be Takashi Hirano and the screenwriter is Tokunaga Tomonaga of the "Kaguya-sama: Love is War" series. Stay tuned.

"KAPPEI: The Savior of the Doomsday" is a manga by Japanese manga artist Kiminori Wakasugi. It tells the story of a group of men who have been training "Undisciplined Killing Wind Fist" since birth on an island in order to save humanity from the doomsday in July 1999. However, in 2011, the doomsday has not yet come, so their master has to order them to disband.

This group of strong men who have only learned how to fight came to Japan in 2011. One of them, Kappei, came to Tokyo. In his eyes, everything was very new. Moreover, Kappei fell in love with a female college student named Yamase Haru at first sight. However, this doomsday warrior who had no common sense at all did not know what to do.
